Andy and I treated ourselves to an early Christmas present!  We went to the Garth Brooks Flood Relief Concert in Nashville.  Boyfriend did it right!  We had more fun!  Garth can still put on a show!  By the time we left the concert, I felt as if I had been at an aerobics class because I was sweating so badly.  We didn't sit down the entire time.  It was awesome.  And to make it even better, Trisha Yearwood came out and sang with Garth.  AND she sang, "She's in Love with the Boy," my all time favorite song!  Enjoy the pics!

Well, I told you it was coming!  Here it is!  I've now figured out how to add pictures...  Are you ready for this?   BY MYSELF! I literally am terrible at technology, but hey, give girlfriend a computer and some bored time, and she'll figure it out...  See for yourself.  Soooo....  with no further ado, I give you some photos from our fab life from the months of October through December.  (And, yes, I do realize that there are no pictures of our tree- have no clue how that one happened...)  Enjoy...

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Hello there, blog world... I've def been bad about updating this thing, and to be perfectly honest, I could have cared less about updating it. Actually, the only times I was updating it was when I was uber bored ... Just in case you were wondering where we've been... absolutely nowhere. We've been perfectly happy in our little home here in the big Ox. Just a little re-cap of our summer- and fall- and now, winter.... Well, it went like this... I do believe I neglected the world wide web around June because one of my last updates was about the fun wedding of Mary Kay and Big D we attended in the Queen City, aka Meridian, MS. Refer back to previous post to learn of the wonderfulness of the wedding. It was fab.
In July, I have no recollection of what we did, so it must not have been too earthshaking. However, I am sure this month included a few visits to YC, the heartland, and to Charleston- aka- Mayberry.
In August, the hub and I made a little visit to the crystal waters of Orange Beach. Man, oh man, was that fun! Just the two of us- it was like our honeymoon all over again- except in Sweet Home Alabama, not St. Lucia. I read 2 books- both of which I can't remember the names- I know one had a character named Denver in it, and I cried like a freaking baby while reading it. Besides reading books, I drank wine, ate good food, and relaxed. It was super fun, especially since the word "relax" is rarely something I have in my vocab. We ate at several good restaurants as well- kudos to Cousin Maris for a job well done in telling us where to eat. We both looked like whales in our swim suits each day after eating so well the night before. In fact, we liked the restaurants so much that we actually took our Christmas card pic at one... Go figure- we didn't get one picture at the beach together, but you better bet your bottom dollar, we got one together at the restaurants- not just one- all of them. So, if you are one of the lucky ones that gets our Christmas card, now you know....
In September, glorious football season began. YUCK is the only word to describe that... not only the sport, but the season... I would, however, enjoy that time of year, were it not for my job. But... I can't complain. I do have a JOB. Anyway, it is super fun to get to the grove when everyone at the tent (minus a few) is tanked, and I am just beginning to sip. So, basically, nothing earthshattering went on for the lovely fall months of September, October, and November- except for drinking our way through a losing football season, which makes for a super fun Andy.
In November, we celebrated Thanksgiving in Mayberry. It was absolutely lovely. The only thing lacking was the pineapple casserole, and Mrs. Meg, of course. She was in Marianna, AR, helping with Miss Jane Eleanor Felton. Jane was born on the 22nd to LB and Jason and big sis Margaret, and she is absolutely darling. She entered this wild world, weighing only 6 lbs. 2 oz. (I think). She is the clone of her father. Surprisingly, the Miller gene didn't get Jane. Don't worry, Jane, it will get to you soon. It's a good one to have.  Take my word on this.  I married a Miller.
Now, here we are in December... the month of many birthdays, and of course, Christmas. What would  December be without Christmas and birthdays? I assure you, it'd be a cold, cold, cold, boring month. I hate cold weather. It makes me want to move to the beach. Soooo, alot of the time, I just imagine I'm back there. I once asked Andy if we could move to the beach, and then he told me I'd have to work, so I said I'd rather move to Charleston. Working is for the birds. (I am, however, happy to be employed for the time being, and we do love living in Ox). I'd honestly cry if I had to leave our house. It's literally like my child. We have attachment issues. Anyway, back to birthdays, this month, Nanny (my grandmother) turned 86; my daddy and Mrs. Meg both turned 60; and little Charlotte Simmons McMaster was born on the 6th- the day before Daddy's big day. Too bad little C couldn't have shared her birthday with the big guy. Now, that the birthdays are over, it is fulltime holiday mode at the Miller abode. Ha- didn't mean for that to rhyme. I love when those kind of things happen... Our house looks like Oxford Floral threw up in it. If I have to say so myself, it looks pretty dadgum cute though. I'll post pictures at some point in time because if it kills me, I am going to learn how to link up to someone else's holiday tour of homes...
